Look at this rockin' background!

Hey Everybody! Don't you think this Christmas background is the cutest thing? The bad thing is is that I will have to change it in less than two days... but I might keep it for a couple extra. Most of you probably know this already, but you can get awesome backgrounds for your blog like this one on www.thecutestblogontheblock.com or www.shabbyblogs.com. I bet there are a million more, but these are the ones that I know of.

I'm Sorry

I'm sorry I haven't posted in a while. I haven't really thought about it in a while.
As you can see to the right, I have gained followers. 15, oh yeah! Well, that is nothing compared to my mother. She has like, more that 300! I don't even know how people figure out people's blogs. I mean, I am a ten year old girl. Usually no one wants to listen to kids. Almost. I'll have to look at those followers.
I am in fifth grade, and there is supposedly this thing called 'The Snowball dance." Everybody is asking one another, and it is really getting out of hand. (I haven't been asked yet, thank goodness.) I am not going to ask anybody. It is just plain dumb. I don't even know if it is going to happen! Seriously!
Let's change the subject. On Friday, it was my grade's Christmas party. It was so fun! We had a white elephant, and I thought I was going to get something that I didn't want- well it turns out that I love art, and I got like a million brand new markers. I brought a picture of Justin Bieber that said Girl on the frame. I really hate him. The person who get mine was James, and he is really annoying. What a coincidence!
I don't really have anything else to talk about. Please comment!
Happy Holidays, everyone!

Picture Day

Today was picture day at my school. How exciting!
Anyways, for picture day, I curled my hair, and wore this cute sweater that my Grandma got for me. It's all about the clothes, baby!
I really don't have anything else to say. Ugh, that is just me.

Cecret Lake

Yo!
Today I went on an all day field trip with all of the 5th graders up to "Cecret Lake." And yes, that is how you spell Cecret in this case.
Anyways, it was so fun! We drove over there and then hiked up a mountain up to the lake. It was beautiful! The lake is really big. I walked the perimeter with a girl named Anna, and it took forever. It was awesome, though!
The art teacher came along with us so she could teach us a landscaping lesson. She told us to draw what you see about the view we had up there, so I did. My teacher also came a long too, obviously, but that means that we had to do a little bit of science with it to. We had to write what we saw the was being eroded, and what we saw that was weathering. Ugh!
But the fun part about science that we did up there was that we had to find a rock and then write about it on a piece of paper. My rock is so pretty! It has a ton of crystals in it and part of it is purple.
When we were done with our work, the teacher said that we could do whatever as long as it was safe. Of course. I mean, I wasn't planning to do something that wasn't safe or anything, but you always know that that is a rule. Why bother wasting time saying it?
It was really fun! Well, that is pretty much all I have to tell you, so, Happy Blogging!

P.S. Tomorrow I have to watch the Maturation Program. Ugh! Wish me luck! (Yuck!)

Sorry, I've been getting into school...

Probably no one looks at my blog anymore because they know that I am not the best at doing, like, three posts a day or something.
Anyways, I haven't been posting for a while because my family moved from Kansas to Utah and I have been getting into school again with all of the homework, etc.
When I lived here before my family went to Kansas, I went to Hawthorne Elementary. It is an ELP school, and my mom didn't want to take the test again for it so now I got to Dilworth Elementary. I like Dilworth a lot, because it has a lot of cool things that my other schools didn't have. For example, lockers, cool assemblies, 3 recesses :), and a ton of other things. One of the things that I am not looking forward to is my first Maturation Program... it's supposed to be next week on Thursday from 1-2 or something. But, if my mom comes to it, my sister and I will get to go home with her from when she leaves after it. I don't know if we will stop by my brother's room to pick him up of just leave him there until school really ends. We will figure it out, though.
You probably know some of this from my mom's blog, but I am going to tell you anyways. My family had renters in our old house, and they moved out right when we moved in. So no, we did not have to buy a new house. I have to share a room... I have never had my own room before! Well, when I was a baby, but still. I have to deal with my sister talking to herself in the middle of the night about how much she loves Edward Cullen and how she knows she will meet him someday and they will live happily ever after because everything is possible. Dream on, sister!
I had some friends that went to Dilworth and went to my church, so I am not lonely and school. It is really fun at recess because the Kindergarten playground is right next to ours, and there is a cute little boy who has a wheel chair that plays "Monsters VS. Aliens" with some friends. Whenever we are watching him he "rolls" over and says hi. My friends and I say hi back, and then we usually say, "Go play! Have some fun!", so one time he said the exact same thing to us when he came over. It was adorable!
My birthday was on the 22nd of August, so let me tell you about all of the awesome stuff we did on that...
1. Drove.
Doesn't that sound fun? Well, we did do this...
2. Stop at "Little America" and have a really nice ( and good!) dinner.
Thanks for planning that dad! It was awesome!
Well, I guess you probably get the point about what has been going on with me. If you have any questions about something, just ask me in my comment thing. Bye!

Our Friend & other things

Our friend came over for dinner because his family was on vacation in Utah. He goes to the same law school as my Dad did so that is how we know him.
We had dinner and then talked with him until about 1 am! Well, of course, I had to go to sleep before he left. *grumble*
Anyways, I am reading a series of books called "Sammy Keyes." The books are part mystery and part... Umm, I guess random. Sammy (Me! Just kidding, we just have the same name... :)) Keyes lives in an apartment for elderly people. She isn't with her mom because she is trying to get a job in Hollywood. Sammy Keyes has names for people she doesn't like, or for people she doesn't know well. She calls her mom Lady Lana because she doesn't like her own mom. Her mom just dropped her off at the place. She calls a Officer Borsch the police The Borsch Man because they don't have the best friendship... She calls his assistant Muscles because he is muscular. Anyways, you get the point.
I really like them...
Now I don't really have anything else to say now, so, Happy Blogging!!!

Cousins in Cedar City

Before my Family went back to Kansas. we went over to Cedar City to see our cousins, Uncle, and Grandma. My Grandma lives in Cedar City so we all stayed there. Oh, and the cousins we saw are Savanna and Sierra. We had a ton of fun!
Savanna has been starting a webshow called Sierra's Funny Explosions. We got to be in 2 episodes! It was really run filming.
Yesterday we all went up in the mountains, and we had so much fun!! There was a ricer, and stones in the middle of it and we kept on walking across the river on the stones. The river was only like, 2 or 3 inches deep! :)
We had potatos, ham, salad, and for dessert we had peach cobbler. It was sooo yummy!
What was cool is that we saw a female mule deer, and we got really close and it didn't run away! That was super cool.
They live in Dallas so we don't get to se them very often. They are leaving very soon from now, and I wish I could stay with them forever!!

The Sleepover

Sorry I haven't posted in a while, but here is the sleepover I was going to tell you about--
First we swam in the pool which was so fun because we got out, and got back in later and swam until 10:00 PM!! We played a game called Wax Museum in the pool but we mixed it up a little and this is what we did- There was a curiator and they would make a subject like Skiing, or something, and we would act out a funny version of Skiing. The curiator would touch us, and if they touched you then you would start acting. They would touch you again and you would freeze. The curiator picks the winner and then they are the new curiator. It was really fun!
We also played Marco Polo and after Marco said Marco, my brother would yell, "Polo in the dark!"
My brother slept with my mom, Elise and her friend slept in a room with a queen bed, and Me and my friend slept in the room with 2 bunkbeds. Elise said the they played with some barbies, and talked until midnight, and Me and my friend played the DS, read our books that we were reading, and talked until 1:30.
When we woke up, we had breakfast, and my grandma gave us sillybands, shich are SUPER popular where I am, Engraving art, which we all LOVE, and lotion. Of course, we got back into the pool, but Elise's friend couldn't because she had to leave soon.
That is pretty much all of the main parts we did. It was sooo fun, and I am glad they got to come to the "Woody House!!"

Clueless

Hey, Bloggy Friends! I am clueless about what to post about today. It seems that all of my followers know what to share to everybody right away. Well, I am the total opposite.
When it is a day where nothing really happens, my followers still post about something that I would never have came up with. Another thing that stinks is the reason I haven't been doing Post-it Note and Pour Your Heart out is because I don't have a clue about what to say. (AAAHH!)
How do you guys come up with all your ideas? please let me know!!

Elise's Book Reviews and Stories

Hey, everyone! I don't have much to post about but just wanted to tell you- Elise's Book Reviews is my sisters blog. it is great book reviews and stories, (duh...) and I advize you to go to elisesbookreviews.blogspot.com if your looking for any good books to read! Happy Blogging!!!

Deer Valley

My family and my Grandparents are in Deer Valley right now. There is so much to tell about all the memories we have had at our cabin- "The Woody House!" The cabin is huge and is owned by a friend of my Grandparents. (It's so huge, it has an elevator!!) There is 5 bedrooms, also a pullout bed, an elevator, an elevator, There are so many TVs, that I don't even know how much there are, an exercise room with a massage table, phones to talk to people in different rooms all over the house, a pool and a hot-tub- even the pool has jets!, and a lot more things that would take do long to type. (Are ya' jealous? :) )
A really awesome part about staying at the Woody House throughout this week is that since the rest of the family isn't coming, My sister and I get to bring a friend to have a sleepover on Thursday!!
My dad is in Kansas so he can find a job so he isn't here..
Well, I will tell you about the sleepover and everything later.... Happy Blogging!!

Soccer games and Water Parades

Sorry about the f down at the bottom of the post...
Anyways, these 2 subjects are more random than you think. Here is the random thing about soccer games-
I went to a Real Salt Lake soccer game with my BFF Bailey. The half time shows were so random, and so were some things that happened at the end. At half time, there were 2 acts- a "Zuper Stars" act, and a Burger king race. Zuper Stars are these people in blown up animal suits- like a hamster with a ponytail, a flamingo, a dinosaur thing, and a seal of some sort. They all did hilarious dances and then did one of their own, like the dinosuar thing ripped of his shirt and started dancing, the flaming spun around on the ground standing on only one hand, and the ponytail hamster bounced on his head. At the end the seal was dancing around when a dude in the crowd started running around in the field. The seal swallowed him, and it showed the guys shoe fly out of his mouth. When the seal let him back out, he was only wearing his white boxers with red hearts all over them.
The random thing about water parades is that random people squirt you with their water guns or pour a cup of water of your head. Except what happened to me is I got poured on with a milk jug full of water!!!
That is all I have to post about right now... nothing else about water parades and soccer games will come to mind. Happy Blogging!!

My First Pour Your Heart Out

This is my first Pour Your Heart Out Wednesday at Shells! I'm really excited.
I'm really grateful for my fam. I'm gonna go one by one from oldest to youngest about why I am grateful for them.
Daddy-
I'm grateful for my Daddy because he went to lawschool and went through all his hard work for us. He took the BAR, (Which he said was freakin' hard.) he studied, (Which he said was freakin' boring.) and he still got to spend time with us and he still got to love us. (Which he said was the freakin' best part.) I love you, Daddy!!
Mommy-
I'm grateful for my Mommy because I wouldn't be here if she hadn't been there for me. Thats one thing, but another is because if my siblings and I were ever misbehaving she would get angry and stop liking us for a while, but she would never stop loving us. I love you, Mommy!!
Elise-
I love Elise, my sister because she is very very weird, but in a very very good way. At one time she will be angry, and half a second later she will be as happy as she was when she found out Mommy was pregnant with me. She loves me, and that is the best part about her. I love you, Elise!!
Isaac-
I love Isaac, my brother because he is another very weird dude. He will change obsessions very quickly, from Thomas to Mario to Big Time Rush to BrainSurge. He is also pretty funny... and he is the miniest out of all the Dunaways. I love you, Isaac!

REMINDER!!!

My post, all about me, is right below my other post 100 words that went along with my day. I only have 3 comments! There is only 3 more days to comment. Remember to comment before the deadline. I really want to answer a lot of questions! Thanks!

All About Me Answers

OK, these are my all about me answers! They were fun to answer.

This is what Nikki asked-

1. What made you want to start blogging?

I wanted to start blogging because The Purse Blogger, (my mommy) was always on the computer making posts, reading posts, and emailing with her more than 300 followers. She has almost 2000 emails all from blogging, too. The blogging thing seemed so fun. I wanted to try it.

2. Do you read blogs? What are your fav blogs to read?

Yes, I do read blogs. All of the blogs I have read are pretty awesome in my opinion, but my favorite blogs are probably craft blogs. The things that the author of the blog make are really cool! I'm not going to name all of them out, because there will be no hard feelings on this blog! :)

3. Are you having fun with random writing?

Oh, yes. It's pretty easy, actually, because all the time random thoughts and memories just pop up in my mind. Not many have the specialty... :)

This is what Linda asked-

1. What's your fav food?

Spaghetti and chicken enchiladas.

2. What is your fav music?

Pop, usually by Taylor Swift and Miley Cyrus.

3. What is your fav color?

By color, do you mean colors? :) My fav colors are Pink and Green.

4. Do you like naps?

No........ :)

This is what Shell asked-

1. What do you want to be when you grow up?

I want to be a teacher, or a vet, and absolutely a mother!

2. What is your favorite book?

My favorite book(s) is a series. That series is the Molly Moon series, I love those books! They are good and long.

3. What is your favorite movie?

My favorite movie would either be Night at the Museum 1 and 2, or Alice in Wonderland.

That is all the questions that were asked. You probably know a little bit more about me, know!

All About Me

Hey, peeps! You know, since I just started blogging like, 4 days ago or something, you all don't really know ANYTHING about me. So that is why I am doing this post. Ok, here's what YOUR going to do.-
If you have any questions that you want to know about me, ask them by commenting on this post. For example, you could ask What's your favorite food? or anything like that. You can ask multiple questions if you would like, too. Your deadline to ask questions is this Saturday. I will probably make the post telling all of the answers ON Saturday, so be watching Ridiculously Random! -Sammy

Random thought that just popped in my head...

OK, this is more random than you think. I was just thinking of what I should post about, and I was clueless, because I'm not used to doing all this bloggy stuff yet. Then for some reason a very weird thought popped up in my head. (Let me tell you, don't ask me where it came from.) OK, here it is-

One day, when I was about 5-6 years old, my Moms side of the family went to some Mexican restaurant, and my cousin ordered a taco. I think it was our first time there, because apparently that taco wasn't very appetizing. "Ugh, this taco tastes like poop!" my cousin yelled. That makes you want to taste that delicious taco, doesn't it?? Then my uncle replied, "When was the last time you tasted poop?" There was a long silence.

Well, that is the story. Yes, it is kind of disturbing, but that is the only thing I could think of.
-SaMmY
